Known as Ciganovce (Cigan being a gypsy), which is translated as Gypsy Town, Cyhanivci is east of Uzhgorod in the Transcarpathia (Zakarpatska) region of western Ukraine. The picture on this page was taken in August, 1995. To see a large picture, just click on the thumbnail image.
The first picture is a view of a north-south street in Ciganovce which is in a steeply graded valley. More pictures are to be added in the future.
